    Juliana completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, OH.  She then completed her post-master's graduate certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, OH in 2015. She was selected into the Center of Excellence program in Primary Care at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center where she completed her nurse practitioner residency. She has over eleven years of inpatient medical-surgical colorectal experience training and working at Cleveland Clinic. She moved to Chicago, IL in 2018 pursing an advanced practice registered nursing career in the specialty of gastroenterology – providing care to patients diagnosed with pancreatitis, abnormal imaging of the GI tract, Barrett's esophagus, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, diverticulitis, colon polyps, GERD, liver dysfunction, etc. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    Kate Robinson is a Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the care of hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal, pancreatic, liver and biliary disorders. After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio she went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Gastroenterological Association.

    Annabel Punsalan is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in the care of hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal, pancreatic, liver and biliary disorders. Annabel has 12 years of experience in the healthcare field. She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational therapy from the University of Perpetual Help-Las Pinas and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical Colleges of Northern Philippines. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner degree from Resurrection University in Chicago, Illinois where she is also an adjunct professor. She is a member of American Gastroenterological Association.

    Xuantan Chen is a board-certified advanced nurse practitioner who joined Summit Digestive and Liver Specialists team in 2019. She completed her undergraduate nursing at University of Illinois at Chicago and her graduate nursing education at Resurrection University. She has worked as a registered nurse in cardiology, family practice clinic, rheumatology clinic, dermatology clinic. She has a special interest in pediatric health and has worked as a nurse practitioner at a pediatric clinic prior to joining our practice. She is both fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

    Gina Kim is a board-certified nurse practitioner who joined the Summit Digestive and Liver Disease Specialists group in 2020. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from University of Illinois at Chicago and has worked as a medical-surgical/telemetry registered nurse at AMITA Saint Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center until she received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University. She is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
