Dr. Afreen A. Hyder is a US citizen and a board-certified gastroenterologist with expertise in various procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and more. She has medical licenses in the states of Illinois, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Dr. Hyder received her medical education and training in India and the United States, including a fellowship in Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Wayne State University. She has held positions at renowned institutions such as Mayo Clinic Health System and is leaving her faculty position there to join Summit Digestive’s team of providers. Dr. Hyder is a member of professional organizations like the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and American Gastroenterology Association.
